Domestic Abuse - The Family Support and Intervention

This is a Bradford Safeguarding Children Board Course

Workers can further develop their knowledge and understanding about domestic abuse with specific focus on the impact on children.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain the impact of domestic abuse on the family unit.
  • Identify the role of various agencies both who intervene and provide support.
  • Identify practice which workers can implement in order to safeguard children.

Aimed at: Those who have completed Domestic Abuse (Basic Awareness) and work with families.

Thursday 12th March 2009 @ New Mill

Time: 9.30 – 4.30
