Children - Embracing Diversity
This two-day course will explore issues of race, religion, ethnicity, culture, disability and sexuality and how these impact on children. Develop strategies that enable you to promote positive identities for children to ensure their needs are met.
Learning Objectives:
- To develop an awareness of our own values and cultures and those of the children we work with.
- To be able to identify ways of promoting a positive identity for all children.
- To increase our knowledge of local and national policy relating to fairness and inclusion.
Aimed at: Anyone (In Bradford) working with children and young people.
