Autistic Spectrum - Working with the Conditions (Level Two)
Staff who either have direct involvement with children & young people on the autistic spectrum and have a background knowledge of autism or staff who have done Cygnet programme 1 training (an introduction to Autistic Spectrum Conditions) and want to develop their knowledge further.
Learning Objectives
- To increase participants understanding of Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
- To assist participants in understanding what is behind a child’s behaviour.
- To guide participants through strategies which they can use to work with children on the spectrum.
- To understand key behaviour management principles.
- To direct participants to relevant ASC resources.
Note – you must have attended a level 1 Cygnet Course
Aimed At: This is a Bradford district wide Multi Agency Course for anyone working in Health, Services to Children and Young People, Education, Police, CAFCAS, Probation Services, Adult Services, Voluntary & Independant Sector.
