How to recognise and assess patterns of attachment between children and their carers/parents and plan interventions

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognising signs of secure attachment
  • Recognising signs of insecure attachment and the resultant psychological and behavioural difficulties
  • Assess the quality of the attachment relationship between parent/carer and child
  • Identify interventions for child, parent/carer and wider resources that can support the child’s attachment network

Aimed at: Bradford Services to Children and Young People - Social Workers, Community Resource Workers, Family Centre Workers Residential Workers and Foster Carers
