About the course

This half day training will provide you with an understanding of advocacy and the role of young people's advocate.

Learning Objectives

  • To develop an awareness of the principles of advocacy
  • To understand the role of advocate in working with children and young people
  • To understand the process of advocacy and gain information about how to access the Advocacy Service at Seen and Heard

Aimed At: Workers in Children's Services working with Looked after Children e.g. Social Workers, Residential Staff, Foster Carers, Voluntary Sector.
