Lean E-Learning
What is Lean?
It is the relentless drive to improve the organisation, improve service delivery and do the absolute best for the service users and staff.
The lean philosophy has grown over the past 100 years developing, evolving and adapting to the needs of business. At its core, however, are two over-riding principles which drive all of the other work.
The two main philosophies
- Elimination of waste
- Respect for People
Lean is a cultural change within an organisation using tools and techniques to eliminate waste.
Public sector organisations are full of committed, highly trained and motivated staff who often struggle daily to work with broken and disconnected systems and processes. Lean techniques have many of the solutions to sort out, repair and align these processes.
We have a number of licences abilable to an elearning package that describes the background and principles of lean and how it can be applied in your workplace.
The package can be accessed via the internet from any computer that has broadband access. It uses evidence and examples gathered through work in Healthcare but the tools and techniques can be applied in any work area.
