How to Apply

There are essentially two allocation routes, depending on whether the qualification you are applying for is on a rolling programme provided internally in the Assessment Centre or is commissioned externally.

Rolling Programme Qualifications:

What you need to do:

  • Talk to your Line Manager
  • Complete the Qualifications Application Form
  • Send your Completed Application Form to Philip McDermott at the Workforce Development unit Peter's House.

Annual Applications Route:

What you need to do:

  • Talk to your Line Manager
  • Complete the Qualifications Application Form
  • Send your completed form to Philip McDermott at the workforce Development Unit Workforce Development unit at St Peter's House by the 20th June 2008
  • Check the individual programme details as for some qualifications you need to apply to the programme provider for a place as well as to the Department for funding and Support.

Please ensure that all sections of the form marked with an asterisk * are fully completed, otherwise we will not be able to process your application. (You need to take responsibility and Ownership for this)

The Workforce Development Unit Management team processes these applications, but final decisions are made by the departmental senior management team in line with service priorities.
