Explains the principles, documentation and management/staff responsibilities associated with this updated staff appraisal system.
- To link individual and team roles and performance with plans, priorities and the Council’s Vision and Values
- To provide constructive feedback, focus on achievements and provide supportive leadership and learning
- To address unsatisfactory performance in good time through less formal and more developmental methods
Aimed at: All managers across Children’s and Adults Social Care (except for managers of Home Care Staff) new to holding appraisals with staff they supervise.
