Success at Work Scheme (SAWS)

Explains the principles, documentation and management/staff responsibilities associated with this updated staff appraisal system.

  • To link individual and team roles and performance with plans, priorities and the Council’s Vision and Values
  • To provide constructive feedback, focus on achievements and provide supportive leadership and learning
  • To address unsatisfactory performance in good time through less formal and more developmental methods

Aimed at: All managers across Children’s and Adults Social Care (except for managers of Home Care Staff) new to holding appraisals with staff they supervise.

25th Feb 2009 open course for managers 1.30 – 4.30
