PACE and the role of the Appropriate Adult
Provides guidance for staff on the role of the Appropriate Adult and how to perform this task.
Target Groups: Staff employed by Bradford Council Adult Services, Adult Services in Health and Voluntary Sector - Staff that may be required to act as an appropriate adult for a vulnerable adult being interviewed by the police.
Learning Objectives:
- By the end of this session staff will have sufficient legal and practical knowledge to undertake the role of an appropriate adult.
