Moving and Handling – Operational Managers
Three-day course for staff that require skills in assessing moving and handling risks.
Objectives:
- To provide staff with sufficient skils and knowledge to implement a robust risk assessment process.
- Improve awareness of current legislation.
- Enhance existing abilities to address manual handling issues arising in their working environments.
- To improve awareness of biomechanics and causes of back pain. Consider the impact of Ergonomic interventions in relation to risk assessments and problem solving.
- Provide staff with sufficient skills and knowledge to perform good manual handling practice with the ability to share that information.
Aimed at: Bradford MDC Social Care - Registered Managers, Home Care Managers & Seniors and all staff who undertake risk assessing.
