Medical Terminology - An Introduction

This half day course will introduce you to some of basics of medical terminology.

Aims and Objectives

• acquire a basic knowledge in the use of medical prefixes and suffixes

• recognise the structure of medical terms

• obtain a fundamental understanding of the body structure and systems

• understand the six categories in which the body is studied.

Aimed at: Social workers, Community Care Officers or Occupational Therapists or those who work with Health colleagues or have difficulty with Medical terminology
