Shopmobility
Shopmobility provides, free of charge, power scooters to help people with mobility difficulties to shop and use other facilities within identified boundaries
How to Use the Scheme
You will need to register on the scheme. You can do this on your first visit.
You will need to produce positive identification that shows both your name and address ( Note. a bus pass is not acceptable) and to complete a simple form.
A member of staff will be pleased to show you how to use the scooter
Book ahead wherever possible to be sure a scooter is available
The Council currently offers a Shopmobility service from three centres in the District.
