Disabled Persons Concessionary Travel
The Concessionary Fares Scheme is administered by Social Services, on behalf of the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (Metro) and provides concessionary travel for disabled persons in various categories. In certain cases companions of disabled persons are entitled to travel using this concession.
With the English National Concessionary Pass you can travel free on off-peak local buses throughout England, and as a resident of West Yorkshire you are also entitled to reduce fare travel on the trains within the West Yorkshire boundaries.
