For Parents

For Parents

Introduction

Kath Tunstall, Strategic Director, Services to Children and Young People, Bradford Council.

“ We know that parents are the major influence on a child's life. Our aim is to improve support for all parents so that every one of our children has the best possible start in life. We also know what a difficult job parenting can be for all of us. It is very important that we support parents well at the right times in family life. With our partners we have produced the Bradford District Parenting Strategy "For Parents" and we are working together to support parents more effectively. Below is some information which we hope you, as parents or as professionals in the field, will find useful. ”

Draft Children's Centres Strategy

The Council’s Draft Children’s Centres Strategy is now available on the Children's Centres page. This will be considered by the Early Years and Childcare partnership at its meeting on 11th June 2008 and then by the Children and Young People’s Strategic Executive. Comments from parents and partner agencies on the strategy are invited. Please submit comments to kal.nawaz@bradford.gov.uk.
