Could you do something special for a child?
Adoption and Fostering (Images of Children)

“We welcome interest from people regardless of race, religion, gender, class, sexuality or disability. You may be married, single, living with a partner, divorced, widowed, in employment or unemployed. You may own your own home, rent from the council or rent privately. A commitment to children and young people is important, as well as qualities like patience and understanding.”

Everyone’s different, some more challenging than others. But can you offer support and guidance? Through the bad as well as the good?

Our greatest needs

We particularly welcome enquiries from individuals or couples who are dual heritage – whether of Asian White or African Caribbean White background for both adoption and fostering.

Adoption

Some of the children we are looking for adoptive families for have disabilities or health problems. They are children who need families that will see beyond the problem and offer a permanent accepting home.

Fostering

We particularly need foster carers who are interested in fostering older children and helping them make the move into adulthood. We also need foster carers who are able to offer short term placements for children when they initially come into care and help them resolve issues and disputes with their family.

Take a look at our adoption and fostering pages for more information then request an information pack and dates of our information meetings through the get in touch form or call 01274 434331.
