British Sign Language
Bradford Council is leading the way amongst local authorities in translating a section of its website for people who use British Sign Language.
At present we provide BSL Videos covering Council Services for people with sensory needs, Benefits available and details on how to contact the Council if you are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
There is also a video explaining the commitment of Bradford Council to provide information in BSL, the preferred first language of many of Bradford’s Deaf community.
Over the next few weeks videos will be added providing information on:
- Council Tax
- Waste & Recycling
- Neighbourhood Support
