Hot Meals Service
The hot meal service provides a delivered hot main meal and dessert. The meals are currently produced and delivered by apetito, the largest supplier of food and catering systems and services to the elderly across Europe. Service users can choose from an extensive range of individual meals which are able to meet a wide range of special dietary requirements.
Meals are delivered Monday to Friday between 11.30am and 1.45pm, it is not possible to specify a time within the delivery window. All hot meals are delivered using a chefmobile which is unique van which offers a fully integrated regeneration and delivery process. The system is extremely reliable, and delivers meals at the correct temperature.
Frozen Meals Service
A frozen meals service is available to service users who are unable to prepare and cook a meal, but able to reheat a frozen ready meal. A two course meal is available which can be reheated at your convenience.
The frozen meals are delivered by Wiltshire farm foods on a fortnightly basis direct to your door. Service users have a choice of soups, main meals and desserts which cater for most diets.
The meals and desserts are delivered in individual trays which can be regenerated in an electric or gas oven, microwave or servetherme. All the equipment can be purchased or rented directly from Wiltshire Farm foods.
Luncheon Clubs
Lunch clubs provide an opportunity to meet and chat over a hot nutritious meal. Many clubs enjoy activities such as games, outings, entertainments and music after the meal.
