Day Sitting and Night Sitting

Do you know a carer who needs to take time out from their caring role?

We can offer assistance if you care for a family member who is dependent on you. If you get in touch with us, we will arrange a convenient time to come and visit you at home to talk about what you need and to give you further information.

We can also provide an interpreter if needed.

Every carer needs a break from caring now and again.

They may want to spend the time:

  • Shopping
  • Visiting friends or family
  • Having their hair done
  • Following an interest or hobby
  • Sleeping or resting

What does the sitting service do?

  • It provides relief to carers on a regular basis.
  • Sitters care for people in their own homes.
  • Sitters provide companionship and supervision so that Carers can take time out.
  • Sitters help with drinks, chat, read, play dominoes, etc.
  • It helps people to remain in their own homes.

It provides relief during the day or night.
