Each year the Council publishes its full performance results for the previous financial year.
The Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 removed the requirement for councils to produce an annual Best Value Performance Plan. However, Communities and Local Government (CLG) issued a letter on 7 March 2008 confirming that they wanted best value authorities to produce one final BVPP to capture the performance data for 2007/08 and to confirm that individual contracts entered into in 2007/08 complied with the requirements of the Code of Practice on Workforce Matters.
In line with these requirements, a statement on contracts is published below.
