Standards Committee
The Standards Committee is established under section 53 of the Local Government Act 2000.
Members must agree to follow a code of conduct aimed at ensuring high standards in the way they undertake their duties. The Standards Committee, supported by the Monitoring Officer, offers training, advice and support to members on the code of conduct.
