Health Improvement Committee
Responsibilities of the Committee
Overview and Scrutiny responsibility under the Health & Social Care Act 2001 with the aim of improving the health of local people, addressing issues around health inequalities and securing continuous improvement of health services and services that impact on health. The Committee may agree with one or more other Council's to create a joint Improvement Committee.
