How much will it cost?
Train to Gain is completely free.

How long will it take to complete the qualification?
We aim for employees to take approximately 9 months.

What is an NVQ?
The aim of an NVQ is to assess whether an individual is competent at carrying out tasks associated with their job in the workplace.

  • All training and assessment can be carried out in the workplace in order to minimise the time an individual is away from their work.
  • All training and assessment is agreed to meet individual and employer needs.
  • An assessor will visit the workplace to observe staff carrying out work related tasks.
  • Train to Gain also includes the development of skills in language, literacy and number where a need is identified.
  • Information, advice and guidance is available on request.
