Section 52 Education Budget Statement
The Section 52 Education Budget Statement sets out the Local Education Authority (LEA) spending plans for the education part of the Children, Schools & Families (CSF) budget.
It provides a summary of the budget shares for all Bradford’s maintained schools, together with details of those budgets retained to cover the functions of the LEA. The Statement also provides information in relation to the formula for funding Bradford’s schools, including amendments arising from the 2005/06 School Funding Consultation.
The common format of the return, as set by statute, provides an opportunity for schools and others to compare funding and methodology between different LEAs and to inform debate about budget levels and the distribution of resources.
