Student Finance

If you live in Bradford and want to study a course of Higher Education at any university or college of Higher Education, you should apply to us, your Local authority (LA) for financial support. You should apply to the Local Authority in which you live and to whom you or your parents pay Council Tax and not where you will be studying.

The application process for getting financial help for September 2008 starts in March 2008; deadline dates apply.

About us

We work with regulations set by the Department for Education and Skills in partnership with The Student Loans Company (SLC). We provide information, advice and guidance for students and their parents about the financial support available, assess applicants for eligibility, calculate entitlement and notify the Student Loans Company of any entitlement. Our aim is to provide you with a quality service to take you through the whole application process.

The SLC is responsible for making payments and reclaiming student loans after graduation.
