Regeneration - Co-ordination and Performance
The function of the Co-ordination and Performance Unit is to provide a range of central services to the Department of Regeneration and Housing and to other partners in the district, these include:
- Regeneration Policy Development
- Research and Policy
- Economic Policy Team
Regeneration Policy Development
To develop Regeneration policy across the Council
To carry out developmental regeneration projects, in conjunction with colleagues across the department.
Research and Policy Support
To work in partnership with external agencies and organisations to interpret Regional, National and International Economic policy and so inform local and regional strategies.
To interpret and respond to Government Legislation on all Regeneration issues
To provide policy and research support to all regeneration teams in the department
To promote a research and Information Service to support fulfilment of the 2020 Vision through Economic development and regeneration
Economic Policy Team
The Economic Policy Team provide support to the district wide Economic Partnership.
Promote the economic needs of the District at a West Yorkshire and Yorkshire and Humberside level. They provide an economic Information Service and support policy development by providing information and briefings on economic issues affecting the district, sub region and region.
