Property Prices in Bradford have increased dramatically in recent years.
Average house prices are still generally much lower in Bradford (£114,365) than for Yorkshire & Humberside (£133,964), and England & Wales (£182,920).
Average property prices increased by 82% between October-December 2000 and the same quarter in 2004. The national increase over the same period was 67%.
Semi-Detached houses in Bradford doubled in value during this period.
Between 2003 and 2004 average property prices in Bradford have increased by almost 18%, compared to a 12% regional increase.
