Fairtrade Bingley
Bingley Fairtrade Group is delighted to announce that it achieved Fairtrade status in July 2006. This is great news for the people of Bingley and its surrounding villages. You can now buy Fairtrade goods at a number of shops and cafés in the town and several businesses, large and small, are routinely serving Fairtrade tea & coffee to their employees.
There's still lots more to do and many more places to add to our list, so come along and join us. Speak to Mark in 'Taste Matters' delicatessen in Chapel Lane.
This summer we held a stall for the second year running at the hugely popular Bingley Show where lots of people called in to sample Fairtrade foods and pick up information about Fairtrade retailers in the local area.
Taste Matters Delicatessen has now opened.
