Successfully Smokefree

Why go smokefree?

The damage that smoking causes the body is horrible and second-hand smoke can cause problems for other people. Second-hand smoke is simply other people’s tobacco smoke and it hangs around for ages, it is invisible and odourless, even if you open up windows it will still be in a room after two and a half hours.

Non smokers who breathe in second hand smoke are at risk of the same diseases as smokers, including cancer and heart disease.

We can help businesses and organisations comply with the smokefree legislation

Smokefree Bradford & Airedale has been set up to help businesses. It can offer support to employees who smoke by running an information session and/or workplace stop smoking groups.
