“To meet the public's expectation for quality and dependability in service delivery particularly with regard to the processing and enforcement of licensing functions.”
The Licensing Team are responsible for the range of licensing functions. The Team offer advice and support to Members and Officers throughout the Council, the general public and other external agencies.
The Licensing Team deals with all of the following types of licensing matters:
Premises Licences and Permits under the Gambling Act 2005, including;
Arcades and Entertainment Centres
Bingo Clubs
Bookmakers
Small Society Lotteries
Alcohol Licensed Premises & Club Gaming/Gambling Machines
Caravan Site Licences
Game Dealers Licences
House to House Collections
Minibus Permits
Motor Salvage Operator & Scrap Metal Dealer Registrations
Street Collection Permits
Street Trading Licences
Premises Licences & Permissions under the Licensing Act 2003 (Alcohol & Entertainment), including;
Public Houses
Member Clubs
Personal Licences
Temporary Event Notices
