How To Get There

Top tips for getting to Peel Park!

Bradford Mela is expecting over 100, 000 visitors over the two days. Here is some important information to make sure your day is safe, fun and enjoyable.

Bus Times:
The buses serving Peel Park are frequent, and a faster way to access the Mela.
The Cliffe Road entrance to the park is served by bus number 645 (Green Line) from Bradford city centre, and bus number 670 (Saturday daytime only).
The Peel Park entrance to the park is served by bus numbers 640/641 (Red Line) from Bradford city centre, and 601/ 602 services from points around the A6177 Ring Road.

Car Parking:
There is an onsite, secure car park is available, although spaces are limited. The site can be accessed from Cliffe Road and Lister Lane. There is a fee for parking.
There is a designated parking area for Blue Badge holders. Peel Park is situated in a residential area please be considerate when parking nearby.

Getting There:

From South and West: Exit M62 at junction 26 and take the M606 to the city centre. From the centre, take the A658, direction Leeds/Bradford airport and Harrogate. The Park is one mile north of the centre: turn left into Cliffe Road.
From North East: Exit A1 at junction 47 and take the A59 direction Knaresborough. Take A658 direction Bradford.

Access Information:

Sign Language - A BSL01 member of staff to help with information.
Toilets - Wheelchair accessible toilets available at each of the 5 toilet areas around the site.
Site Access - The Site has been split into two areas this year. The Mango Stage situated on the top level area can be accessed without negotiating any steep gradients. The lower level can be accessed via a footpath.
Access Champions - There will be members of staff at each Information Point around the site who will be able to help with access needs.
Viewing area - There will be designated raised areas for disabled viewers at the Mango and Sunrise Stage.
Baby Café - Full support for baby change and feeding will be onsite.
Drop-off points - Drop off points and pick up points will be clearly sign posted on Cliffe Road near the entrance to the disabled parking area.
Seating - There will be seating available in the food areas and chill out areas as well as park benches.
First Aid - There will be a medical facility available on site.
