A celebration of food and music was planned for September 2010.
Polish Festival - May 2010
Balanga Bar and Restaurant on Godwin Street planned a Polish Festival in May. Music, dancing, food and community activities took place.
St Patrick's Festival - March 2010
This event was hosted on the World Mile by the Irish Club on Rebecca Street.
World Mile Banners Project - Summer 2009
To mark the World Mile festival in September 2009 (part of Bradford Music Week) over 20 banners were displayed along the World Mile route. Local primary school children, youth groups and an adult community project designed them. The artwork reflects the artists' thoughts about the World Mile area and the goods available in its shops.

World Mile Music Festival - September 2009
The music festival was staged as part of Bradford Music Week and featured over 250 local performers.
