Road Safety

Road safety is co-ordinated through a multi-agency steering group including Bradford Council, West Yorkshire Police, Bradford District Primary Care Trust, West Yorkshire Casualty Reduction Partnership and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and Yorkshire Ambulance.

Working together with local people, the aim of the group is to make our roads safer, to reduce road injuries and to promote healthy transport opportunities such as walking and cycling.

Our Road Safety Plan for 2012 to 2014 explains what we do and how important it is for local people to play their part in making roads safer.
