Did you know campaign
Did you know more than half the contents of your rubbish bin can be recycled?
We are asking people in Bradford to make an extra effort to recycle as much as possible and reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfill sites unnecessarily.
Our Did you know? recycle campaign continues with a new recycle message. The campaign highlights the fact that more than half of the contents of your rubbish bin can be recycled using Bradford Council range of recycling facilities.
We are encouraging people to have a harder look at what they throw away to make sure they are not missing items which could have been recycled such as:
- Aerosols
- Batteries
- Cans
- Cardboard
- Drinks cartons
- Electrical goods
- Energy bulbs and fluorescent tubes
- Glass jars and bottles
- Garden waste
- Paint
- Paper
- Plasterboard
- Plastic bottles
- Rubble
- Scrap metal
- Shoes
- Soil
- Textiles
- White goods
- Wood
Bradford Council provide a range of recycling services across the district to make recycling as easy as possible. Our recycling services include:
