Welcome to the Recycling section of the website.
Recycling is the normal thing to do with your waste, with more and more people doing their bit to look after the place where they live. The Council would like residents to separate recyclable materials from their waste.
Bradford Council offer various recycling facilities in order to make recycling as easy as possible for you, the resident:
Just one more thing we can recycle!
Remember, if we all recycled just one more...
- Paper – junk mail, newspapers, magazines, catalogues, white envelopes, office paper
- Glass bottles and glass jars
- Drinks cans, food cans
- Plastic bottles
- Drinks cartons
- Batteries
...then we can help make Bradford a cleaner and greener place and make our environment a better place.
Recycle at home!
Remember, to use your kerbside collection service, your local Bradford Household Waste Recycling Centre or visit one of the 80 Local Recycling banks which you can find in local supermarkets and car parks etc.
Recycle at work!
Bradford Council offer a range of recycling facilities within several Council Buildings. Visit Jacob’s Well car park and use the brand new recycling bank for glass and cans. Or recycle paper using the paper bins which can be found at most other council buildings. You can also find facilities to recycle printer cartridges and mobile phones at City Hall and Jacob’s Well.
By recycling you are helping to minimise landfill, reduce carbon emissions and improve our environment. Our individual contribution all adds up to make a big difference!
You can also call 01274 431000 for further information and advice on recycling.
