Schools Recycling

Recycling at school

Recycling bins are available for schools in the Bradford district to make recycling part of the daily routine for staff and pupils.

Bradford Council can provide schools with a blue lidded 1100 litre wheelie bin for recycling paper such as newspapers, cardboard, magazines and computer paper. We can also provide domestic sized glass/can bins for drinks cans, glass bottles and food jars. The bins are emptied on a 4 weekly basis.

The school recycling bins are supplied and emptied free of charge, however to be eligible for the recycling bins your school must have an existing contract with Bradford Council's trade waste service for your general refuse.

If your school would like to participate in the recycling scheme, please contact us online or telephone 01274 431000.
