Scheme of Delegation

'Scheme of delegation' refers to who is allowed to make decisions about planning applications.

The current scheme of delegation is made under the powers contained in Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972, the Town and Country Planning Acts, Part 8 of the Anti-social Behaviour Act 2003, the Council’s Constitution and all other enabling powers. It was approved by the Regulatory and Appeals Committee of the Council on 6 January 2011 and took effect on 7 January 2011
