We will usually make a decision on an application within 8 or 13 weeks for larger or more complex applications.
The fee payable will depend on the type of application being submitted. For some applications there is no fee payable. You can download a list of our current planning fees (.pdf format, 1.5Mb) or a copy can be obtained from your local planning office.
Yes, copies of the application form, plans and supporting information can be viewed online using Public Access or at your local planning office.
You can write to your local planning office or alternatively visit them in person. For decision notices post 1997 we do not charge. However, notices pre 1997 incur a £10.00 charge. Bradford Planning Service also publish the monthly decisions online.

No, as the fee is charged to cover administrative costs. If planning permission is refused it is possible to submit a revised application with no payment of fee in certain circumstances. Please contact your local planning office for more information.
No, by law all written representations are made available for public inspection. If you do mark your letter confidential it cannot be taken into account when determining the application.
