Annual Monitoring Report
A key element of the development plan system is monitoring and review. Authorities are required to produce an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) to review actual progress in terms of Local Development Document (LDD) preparation and compare this with the targets and milestones in the Local Development Scheme (LDS) over the preceding year.
The AMR is also required to assess the implementation of policies, through a set of Core Output Indicators set by Government and supplemented by local indicators set by the Council, covering the following priority themes of Business Development; Housing; Transport; Local Services; Minerals; Waste; Flood Protection and Water Quality; Biodiversity and Renewable Energy.
The AMR is published and submitted to the Government by the end of December each year. The current AMR along with previous reports are available to view below.
