Issues and Options Stage
The first stage in the preparation of the Core Strategy was to consult and discuss with the public and stakeholders the issues which the core strategy must address and the options for responding to them. To kick off these discussions the Council produced a series of 8 topic papers, which provided the background to the key issues and proposed a number of options for tackling the issues, and consulted on these documents between February and July 2007.
The reports below detail the various consultation events that were held and summaries of the written comments on each Topic Paper.
