Sustainability Appraisal Draft Scoping Report
This document forms the first stage of the Sustainability Appraisal of the Bradford City Centre Area Action Plan (BCCAAP).
The Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report collects together the baseline data and information on other plans, policies and programmes that can have an influence on the production of the APP. Based on this context, sustainability appraisal objectives and indicators are identified and issues and problems are set out to form a framework, which will then be used to measure the performance of these plans. The Sustainability Appraisal (SA) also incorporates the requirements of the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA).
The council invited comments on all aspects of the Draft Sustainability Appraisal Report, particularly on the provision of any additional information in relation to the baseline data and sustainability issues, objectives and indicators as identified in the reports. The 5 week consultation period closed on Monday 13th August 2007.
