Design Awards
The unit has a long track record of receiving design awards and commendations from a variety of agencies including the Civic Trust, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and the RTPI. Most recently we have received the following awards and commendations:
- Bradford District Design Awards 2008: Two schemes were awarded commendations in the Public Realm category - Kipping Gardens, Thornton and the Bradford Living Street,
- Landscape and Amenity Awards 2007 - commended best grassroots sports facility project - Myra Shay
- Horticulture Week Britain's best park award 2006 - Lister Park
- Interpave/Local Government Magazine Awards 2002 - Certificate of Excellence for Public Space Design - Manchester Road Guided Bus Route
- Civic Trust Green Flag Awards 2002 for Lister Park
- British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) - winner in the category of Mainly Soft Landscape Construction Scheme of 2002 for Lister Park
- Bradford District Design Awards Commendation 2001 for Lister Park - Listed Park Restoration Scheme
- Bradford District Design Award 2001 for City Centre Park
- RPTI Award for Royds Community Regeneration Project 1998 Secured by Design Accreditation for the Royds Community Regeneration Project 1995 - 2002.
