Silsden Conservation Area Assessment
The Silsden Conservation Area Assessment contains a detailed analysis of the character of the conservation area and describes its special character and interest. The document and the revised conservation area boundary were approved by Keighley Area Committee on 11 April 2002.
Silsden Conservation Area Appraisal
The Silsden Conservation Area Appraisal was undertaken in April 2006. The Appraisal is a means of updating the original assessment and is carried out every five years. The appraisal considers authenticity, changes that have taken place, opportunities and threats to the Conservation Area. It also maps the key characteristics of the area and contains Management Proposals. Any changes that affect the designation of the Conservation Area will be reported to the relevant committee.
