RSS feeds from Bradford Metropolitan District Council
We have now introduced RSS feeds to various items available on the Council website.

What is RSS?
RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication' and it allows you to stay up to date with the latest information from various sources. Websites publish 'RSS feeds' to allow other websites to take a copy of their information.

How do I access RSS?
You will need a News/Feed Reader or other similar device which you need to subscribe to. Feed readers can be web browers or programs that you download to your computer. Many of these automatically check for feeds for you when you visit a website, and display an RSS icon when they find one.

Many new web browsers have a built-in RSS Feed reader. Older browsers, including Internet Explorer 6, do not have a built in Feed reader, and you will need to download a program to your computer to read the feed.

What is RSS used for?
Feed readers also exist that allow people to list their favourite feeds in order to see information from multiple websites all in one place.

Please select an area from the left-hand menu that features RSS feeds.
