Bingley Fine Food 2010

This video shows the Bingley Fine Food Festival which took place in April 2010, which brought flavours from all around the world to Bingley Market Square. Over forty stalls brought a whole array of speciality and locally produced food. Mediterranean medleys such as Olives & Feta Cheese will mix with the aromas of Asian favourites such as Curries and Chutneys. But there will also be more traditional dishes for sale such as hog roast, pies, pickles, fish, venison and game. The sweet toothed were delighted to browse around the patisserie and the sweet, toffee and chocolate stalls.

All kinds of refreshment were available throughout the day including Polish Bar. Also Soraya Overend of the Bradford Project Manager for Jamie Oliver's inspired Ministry of Food project was on hand to do some food demonstrations with members of the public.

The Food Festival was also complimented by the traditional open market that was trading over both days.
