The exciting new Streets Ahead project has recently been awarded to Royds Community Association. Involving both agencies and residents in the improvement of services, Royds will be addressing the very local concerns people have to help improve the quality of life for everyone.
Your New Neighbourhood Manager
Gerry Andrews is the new Neighbourhood Manager for Little Horton Streets Ahead. With an experienced background in planning, regeneration, environmental education and customer relations, Gerry has joined Streets Ahead familiar with the issues facing our local community. Before taking up this post, Gerry was also an Environmental Task Force Co-ordinator. He already has a good working relationship with many of the agencies, groups and councillors in the area, and can’t wait to make his mark. Gerry says:
"More and more residents now report feeling safer walking alone at night and local people are much happier with the cleanliness of streets and parks. Streets Ahead has helped put sustainable links in place so we can continue to be proud of our neighbourhoods in the future." |  |
