Your Neighbourhood Manager for Allerton & Lower Grange is Chris Slaven.
Chris has a strong background and long history in partnership working around young people, community work and in crime prevention. Previous roles included youth work and voluntary sector work with young people at risk. Following a capacity building role in Bolton Woods, Chris was employed by Probation as the community safety co-ordinator for Keighley before taking up the post of Anti Crime Partnership officer for the same area. Immediately prior to this role Chris managed the Councils Anti Social Behaviour Team and has been involved in many local and district campaigns to reduce crime. As a 'local lad', Chris wants to help make Bradford a safer and better place to live for all.:
"Residents have been working with community groups and partners to improve local neighbourhoods. Our achievements have been many: crime is down, streets and parks are cleaner, motorcycle nuisance is being dealt with and the new Neighbourhood Wardens are making a huge impact." | |
Chris wants you to help make the Streets Ahead programme a success in Allerton & Lower Grange. He will work closely with residents, agencies and other service providers, and is always keen to engage in all local issues.
