Background
Since the Masterplan for Bradford city centre was launched in 2003, the City Park has been seen as a critical part of Bradford’s regeneration. After extensive consultation with the public and investment community, the current designs are the latest translation of that vision. In July 2009, Bradford Council announced funding for the scheme. The scheme is jointly funded by Bradford Council, Yorkshire Forward and the Regional Transport Board. The City Park started on site in December 2009.
