The City Park will be a vibrant public space in the heart of Bradford city centre. Bradford Council, Yorkshire Forward and the Regional Transport Board have funded the building of a park at the heart of the city and construction started in December last year.

It will be a flexible space for people of all ages to enjoy, with areas for rest, play and relaxation. The City Park will feature the mirror pool, the largest city centre water feature in the UK. This unique feature will reflect and showcase the Grade 1-listed City Hall and will set Bradford apart – attracting visitors from across the UK. The pool can be easily drained to host large concerts, carnivals, markets, sports events and theatre productions for up to 10,000 people. The pool will host over 100 fountains and have light, sound and mist effects - making it look different each time you visit.

The City Park has been designed to bring jobs and prosperity to Bradford. It will attract visitors and investors, raise land values and help create the landscape for future investment. The Park is a critical part of Bradford’s regeneration.
