The Venue
Kirklands is a large community centre set in the middle of Menston village. Originally a large detached stone-built house in 1874, the centre was extended and modernised in 1972.
The hall is well used by the local community and has several rooms available for hire. There is ample car parking facilities and level floor access.
The venue is ideal for social events, private functions, meetings, bridge, badminton, art classes and exhibitions. The main hall has a small stage with limited theatrical capabilities for small scale productions.

The main hall measures 30ft x 56ft. The room is multi-functional and can accommodate up to 180 people (dependant on room set up) It is ideal for social functions, small scale theatrical productions and badminton.
Room 12, 12A measures 18ft x14ft and can accommodate a maximum of 30 people. It can be divided into two rooms if necessary.
Room 18 measures 15ft x 12ft and has a small capacity of around 20 people.
Rooms 17 and 28 are 30ft x16ft and are ideal for large meetings and social activities for up to 60 people room 17 only. (Room 28 is situated on the first floor and because of this has a reduced occupancy of 40)
The ground floor kitchen measures 11ft x 6ft and is well equipped with gas water boiler, oven, grill and fridge.
