The Venue
Denholme Mechanics Institute is a small public hall, which was built in 1880 and is situated on the main street of Denholme. It comprises of a Main Hall, Blue Room, Reading Room and kitchen facilities. It is ideal for meetings, children’s parties, coffee mornings and social events.
There is limited off-street car parking and level access to the ground floor areas.

The Main Hall measures 48ft x 34ft and has a small stage. It has recently benefited from redecoration and is capable of holding a maximum of 300 people. It is ideal for private parties and social functions and is situated on the first floor (accessible via stairs only).
The Blue Room measures 17ft x 13ft and is situated on the ground floor. This room has a maximum capacity of 100 people and is ideal for children's parties and social events.
The Reading Room measures 15ft x 18ft and is situated on the ground floor. It is ideal for small meetings of up to 25 people.
The kitchen (16ft x 15ft) is available to hire in conjunction with any of the above rooms and is ideally equipped with tea-making facilities.
